Rock Solid Productions Inc. Welcomes Two New Team Members
July 13, 2023 – We are thrilled to announce two new members to the Rock Solid team: Perry Marshall and Anneka Burghout. Perry will be stepping into the brand new role of Global Sport Development Manager, bringing his expertise to spearhead our global initiatives. Meanwhile, Anneka will be taking over as Marketing Manager, leading our marketing efforts to continued success.
Perry Marshall brings decades of experience and knowledge to the role. He is a Chartered Professional Coach (ChPC), working with teams at every level internationally, and has served as a coach mentor for both able-bodied and parasport coaches. Most recently, Perry completed the last Olympic cycle in a coaching and athlete development role with the Chinese Winter Sports Federation focused on athletes who participated in the Beijing Winter Olympics and the Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne.
When it comes to leadership roles in curling, Perry has been a leader for the Ontario University Athletic Association, board chairperson of the Ontario Junior Curling Tour and the education portfolio program manager for the Ontario Curling Council. He also transformed the varsity curling program at Toronto Metropolitan University from a non-traditional curling school to a now five-time OUA medalist and national finalist in seven seasons.
Outside of curling, Perry has trained as a professional accountant and has a vast business background at the CxO level within the technology services industry.
Anneka Burghout has an extensive background in marketing, design, media, and business development, alongside a wealth of curling experience. On the ice, Anneka is a competitive curler in Ontario, currently focusing on the discipline of mixed doubles curling. Her passion for the sport is evident through her dedication to teaching newcomers to curling, coaching experienced players, and organizing club events to foster a shared love for the game.
Off the ice, Anneka has almost a decade of experience working in marketing and design. She has helped build multiple companies from the ground up by leading their marketing departments and assisting in making data-driven business decisions.
