During these times of quarantine we’re looking back at previous memories, including last year when Rock Solid Productions owner Chad McMullan received the prestigious Curling Canada Board of Governors Award.
On Saturday, March 9th, 2019 at the Tim Hortons Brier Rocks & Rings Chad McMullan was recognized for his unique contributions and achievements that have significantly impacted the sport of curling in Canada. Chad lives and breathes curling. If you want to learn more about Chad, visit our about page to see his accomplishments in the curling industry.
As the sport of curling grows around the world, Chad has worked tirelessly to grow the sport on and off the ice. From Super Bowls to school gyms, Rock Solid Productions has reached millions of people with our iceless curling products.
When it comes to school gyms, Rock Solid Productions’ program Rocks & Rings introduces hundreds of thousands of students to curling every school year. Rocks & Rings visits schools across Canada, teaching students about curling using interactive drills, relays, and activities in the school gym.
Chad has been a driving force in growing the game around the world, making tremendous strides for the sport with Street Curling and FloorCurl. Using our exclusive iceless curling products, we’ve shared curling with the public at Super Bowls, shopping malls, festivals, and in nations where there is no ice. These iceless products are an ideal way to showcase curling in non-traditional locations, allowing passersby to experience the sport for themselves.
As we look back to March 2019 we also reflect on all our accomplishments in the past year. Of course, this year has also been marked by the global pandemic which has had an unprecedented impact on the sporting world and the attractions industry. Looking ahead to the future, we’re excited to continue to share curling with people around the world with FloorCurl, Street Curling, and Rocks & Rings.
